Welcome to my little place on the web

Just a few musings by me which maybe you will enjoy

Last day of holidays

Got a few things achieved in the past couple of days.  2 more blocks for my Wrapped in Chocolate quilt, my JoyPatch sewing caddy (just got to put the binding on that) and because I admired the lovely crochet motif's on Lisa's page from Cubby House Crafts and on Jane's page from Sweet Cinnamon Stitches, I found in my box of UFO's a crochet jug cover I'd started oh about 3 or so years ago, put it away and promptly forgot about it.   So now I have finished that.  Jane was kind enough to send me a pattern for crochet motif's and I have been playing around with them today.  Now all I have to do is find my tatting books and see if I remember how to wield that shuttle, seeing that remembering how to crochet was like remembering how to ride a bike - right Jane?

Tomorrow I'm dressing up with No. 1 son to head out to Supernova.  He is into costuming and I told him I would go with him to this one in Sydney, so maybe I will put a pic up tomorrow of what its all about.

Until then

Happy stitching

Pam

  1. LOL...yes like riding a bike...LOL!! Your jug cover looks fantastic Pam....and actually takes me back a year or two! Great to see jug covers about & must make one for myself at some stage. Can't wait to see what you achieve with the shuttle...& will be watching for a pile of motifs...LOL!! Glad that you liked the little motif pattern & that it inspired you to get back into crochet...well done!!
    Have a great weekend Pam!
    Cheers....Jane.
