Busy week and weekend this one, both the boys are home, and its the first time they have seen each other since January, so Saturday was spent with them both furniture shopping for No. 2 for when he is posted.
My sewing this week comprised of a Little Birdie Sewing set by Gail Pan. I usually buttonhole applique, but this time I reverse appliqued the block holder and the needle book, which was way out of my comfort zone, but I have to thank Gail herself who helped me via email to work out how to do this. Thanks heaps Gail. I don't have a straight eye, so even tho it looked straight to me.....it wasnt lol. Anyway here it is :)
I'm happy with it, I will get better with more practice.
I also did 2 more hexies
And this week in the mail I received from my favourite online shop
So apart from more hexies, I'm not sure what I will do this week, so this time next will reveal to all what I have achieved lol
Well enough from me
Happy stitching
Pam xx
