Friday morning I woke to hear it was snowing in the Blue Mountains and the roads were closed......
This was the front of Karen's shop
I spent the day listening to road reports to see when the roads were open and by the time I left Penrith at 4.30 they were open, but still icy.
This is how it looked when I got there Friday afternoon :)
Friday night we had a cocktail party and a trunk show, that was fun. Saturday morning came quickly and the fun really began. We had 3 teachers, Gail Pan, Lisa Cantlay and Carol Roberts, 6 patterns and 6 kits we could purchase or bring our own supplies.
My first go at needle turn applique
I had a great weekend, learnt some new things, started three projects out of the 6, one is nearly finished. Meet some lovely ladies, ate a lot of food, and cant wait till next year :)
Carol, Lisa, Brendan, Gail and Karen
I also have neglected to mention that I have joined Chookyblue's Secret Santa Swap, which is looking good.
Will post a few more pictures tomorrow of the lovely work of Lisa and Gail.
Well that's enough from me
Happy stitching
Pam xx
