Welcome to my little place on the web

Just a few musings by me which maybe you will enjoy

The week that was (heavy pictures)

Have had a busy week this week at work, with changeover of my computer, not to mention the dreadful hot weather we have had, thank God we haven't had any fires around us on the work front tho we did have one near home on Thursday night that wasn't contained till Friday night.  Both the hubby and I have been a bit under the weather thought it was something we ate, now not so sure.

The following are the 5 blocks of Michelle Ridgeway's  A Christmas Tail Quilt.  I took Miss Mistlemouse away with me on my cruise, after she threw a tantrum in my sewing room telling me that I'd promised to take her on my vacation (no I'm not mad, she's a persistent little mouse just ask Michelle!!!)  Anyway I only took her out of my bag once and didn't end up doing much, so this week I've been finishing the embroidery. (She kept nagging me to death, lol...)

These are the two fabrics I will use to put the quilt together, I think they go well together.

This block is the last one in my Gail Pan Christmas Quilt, I finished it this week too, and the fabric under it is what I am using to make up the quilt.

Hopefully if the weather is not to hot, I will get these two put together over the next weekend which is a long one, so you never know I just might.

I'm also doing some secret sewing as well, which I will show you soon I hope.

Well I think that's all from me

Happy stitching

  1. Finally found my way here Pam. Yes I can attest to the fact you have a very nagging mouse to contend with. She is looking very happy with your lovely stitching. I hope you & hubby feel full of beans again soon.
