Stuff :)

Happy belated Valentines day to you all, hope you had a good day :)  I joined in a Valentines day swap with Sandy and had the lovely Kay (no blog) from England as my swap partner.  This is what she sent me :)

A lovely pin cushion with Valentine cross stitched on it in variegated thread.  I am going to put it on my little shelf above my sewing machine so I can see it every time I come into my room.  Thanks Kay I really love it :)

This is the little heart pincushion I made for Kay, I was looking through blogs today and found that Anthea made this for her swap partner in the Initial Swap, we seem to like the same things. :)

I have also been busy with Red Brolly, I have decided to join in  with Bronwyn and join the Girls Own Stitching Club.  I have started the sewing bag, and will finish it with the BF next weekend she is making one too! I have also made 2 of the strawberry scissor keeps, one already given to Rhonda, they were quick and easy to make, might make a few more to have on hand as gifts.  Go check out the Girls own Stitching Club looks like it will be fun.  Thanks Bronwyn!!!

Ive also been playing with hexies, this is the pocket of a book cushion, I have to stitch down the hexies on the background fabric, should look good with its finished, decided I would start a Nanna's Chest

My dilema with my Gail Pan Christmas quilt has been fixed, its on the hoop being hand quilted at the moment, but it turned out great hopefully I will be able to show you in the next few weeks.

Well that's enough from me

Happy stitching

Pam xx

And yes we do like similar things - I love the Red Brolly Girls designs at the moment - Bronwyn is so very generous to share them free of charge!
Good to read that you have sorted out the probs with the Gail quilt - it will look great, I know that...x

  3. I am so glad you like it, I made one for myself afterwards too. Your heart is happily sitting in a platter in my living room at the minute and will move up to my bedroom soon. I like to have hearts hung from my drawer handles. The scissor keep is sweet, I do have a thing about srawberries so must go over and print out the pattern.
