I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was spent at Flyboy's house with all the family from both sides, which was good :)
I opened my Secret Santa Swap yesterday morning, and found a very beautiful wall hanging from Anita. Thank you so much Anita for the wall hanging
I am a very lucky girl.
Well that's enough from me
Happy stitching

Secret Santa Christmas Swap
Yes I know two posts from me in two days, dont all faint lol
Monday morning when I went to get the mail, there was a parcel from me all the way from The Netherlands, so needless to say I got to work and had to rip it apart.
My swap partner was Anita and this is what was in the box
Two parcels that were my swap goodies and some Dutch goodies
These are my two parcels
And the goodies
This is what Anita sent me, some tea, chocolates, an oven mit, some cloggs and a spoon/tea bag holder, so lovely thank you very much
And this beautiful cross stitched Santa ornament, very delicate, very beautiful. Thank you Anita for your thoughtfulness.
I will show you all whats in the big parcel at Christmas.
Thank you Chookyblue for organising this
Well that's enough from me

Pictures
As promised pictures of what I've been making, found my connection, put away where it was supposed to be, just didn't see it yesterday when I looked (lol....i'm blind so whats new lol)
I made this charm square scarf, we are heading off to New Zealand on a cruise in a few weeks, and it will be cold down the south of the South Island, saw this on Trish's blogg its her first Moda Bake Shop tutorial, really easy to make, backed with flannel, so it should keep me warm :)
This is going to be a cushion for my sewing room chair back its from one of Natalie Bird's books, With Needles and Pins, a great book.
A little stitchery from the same book that will be for my sewing room. This is also a block of the quilt that is in the book which I'm thinking of making next year.
These two are projects from the Stitching Post Retreat in Katoomba, these are a project from Lisa Cantlay from Fig'n' Berry Creations, all I have to do is put the casing on the bag (above) and the stitcheries are a needle case and the big one is for a pin cushion, now if I can only get my act together and get them finished before Christmas, but its not looking good lol.
Secret Stitching for Chooky's Christmas Swap winging its way somewhere in the world. :)
I didn't stay to the end of the Opera House (see previous post) the other night, found out yesterday one of the lovelies from Leesa's Club got 3rd place in her age group in her first time at National Finals, well done Lauren :)
